The A+ Certification is an industry recognized certification course for PC Troubleshooting and Repair as well as PC configuration and maintenance. The A+ syllabus was designed by CompTIA an independent body made up of leading industry manufactures such Hewlett Packard, Dell, IBM, Microsoft and many others who assist in the design of the CompTIA syllabus to ensure they meet with industry requirements.
This SoftwarePaths course will teach you all the necessary topics in order pass the A+ Certification Examination with flying colours. The course is designed around a practical hands-on approach to PC Repair and trouble-shooting to ensure all attendees receive real world practice at completing the tasks they will be tested on during the examination and so master the fundamentals of PC hardware and the Windows system software.
Who is this course for?
The A+ certification is the ideal starting point for anyone interested in working in IT configuring, upgrading and supporting PCs in the workplace.
The A+ syllabus is broken into 2 core areas covering Hardware and Software configuration of PCs and there are two associated examinations that need to be passed in order to attain the A+ Certificate.
The Course
You can attend the A+ course at IACT either as an intensive Day course running of 6 days – 3 days of Hardware and 3 days of software – or as an evening class running over 10 weeks 2 evenings per week. We recommend attending the PC Troubleshooting and Repair course first and certainly having a good understanding of general PC usage prior to attending the course.
