While the idea of hiking through the mountainous terrain of Nepal might seem daunting at first, the sheer sense of accomplishment and overall experience are definitely worth it. If 2014 is the year you want to achieve something phenomenal then this is just for you.
Itinerary:
After a short stay in the city of Kathmandu where you’ll receive a full guided tour, you’ll begin the Ghorepani Poon Hill Trek with a short bus journey to the beautiful town of Pokhara. From there begins the hike from Nayapul up mountainous panorama to Ghorepani.
After an overnight stay in a Nepalese tea house, the trek will climax at a height of 3,210 metres at Poon Hill which offers 360-degree, breathtaking views of the Himalayas.
Expect up to six hours of hiking a day with a light rucksack in tow. View the detailed itinerary here as well as some essential trek information.
