Krav Maga is one of the most popular and effective self defence systems in the world. The official fighting system of the Israeli Defense Forces it teaches you to use your instinctive body reactions to defend yourself in any situation.
Unlike traditional martial arts that take years to perfect, Krav Maga can be learned in a few weeks. And you couldn’t ask for a better teacher, Patrick Cumiskey introduced this form of self defence to Ireland over 11 years ago and since then has trained over 14,000 people .
The 12-week course course consists of 12 one and a half hour weekly classes, where you’ll learn how to escape from and deal with 18 different types of attack, learn how to diffuse difficult situations and more.
But if you don’t think you can commit to 12 weeks, there is a weekend option available (Portobello location only) where you can learn everything you need over two days. Check out the timetable for a date that suits you.
If you choose the 12-week course you can also avail of an additional 12 fitness bootcamp classes (one class a week ). Held on Tuesday and Thursday evenings in the city Centre (just five minutes from Harcourt Street) the fitness bootcamp classes are designed to work on your overall fitness in conjunction with the self defence classes.
