    At INDIAN BRASSERIE, we wish to offer our personal flair of Indian gourmet cuisine with an innovative gastronomic take on traditional cooking methods, fine Indian spices and Irish produce and the legacy of our shared food heritage. Moreover, we regard it as a personal challenge to help bring about a revival of authentic Indian cuisine and let its distinctive flavours and varied regional character brightens up the world.

    INDIAN BRASSERIE is not about cream, butter and one or two base sauce to cook all the dishes. On the contrary, we’ve been busy exploring the Indian regions discovering outstanding foods and bringing them to Dublin. In much the same fashion, we continue to look out for new sources of inspiration in India to ensure our guests taste the vast repertoire of dishes in India.

    We do our own roasting, smoking, pickling, and grinding of spices. We also prepare our own marinations and dishes are made in their own separate sauce.

    With a crew of world-class chefs, a carefully-crafted menu and exciting presentation of food, Indian Brasserie aims to deliver the rich and delicate flavours from all across India, be it from God’s own country, Kerala, from the Pink city, Jaipur, from tranquil Kashmir or even from the hills of Nepal!

    We feel that the cooking at INDIAN BRASSERIE is fairly ambitious but then again, Indian cuisine must possess certain purity, an essential simplicity, and we firmly believe that the Indian cuisine has significant health benefits to offer as well as dictated by Ayurveda or the “Science of Life”.

    All these values are reflected in our menus, in the composition and presentation of each dish and in the planning and preparation that underlies it all. To fully appreciate the depth and breadth of our unique offering, we would encourage you to share dishes with your fellow diners.

    Onion Bhaji
    Crisp-fried onion, chick-pea, amchoor, carrom seeds, served with tamarind – mint chutney

    Vazhuthananga varuthathu
    Ginger, garlic, fennel and black-pepper marinated aubergines, shallow-fried, topped with avil nanachathu, raw cane sugar and coconut rubbed rice flakes

    Mirchi Vada
    Jumbo green chillies filled with spiced potatoes, chick-pea, crisp-fried and served with tamarind confit

    Bhukhara Chicken tikka
    Succulent leg of chicken kebab boneless, double-marinated and tandoored, served with mint chutney, chat masala, yoghurt

    Pudina Ghosht
    Skewered lamb kebabs, ginger, red onions and peppers, pudina chutney

    Calamari Chatpata
    Sea salt and black pepper marinated crisp-fried squid in flour batter, stir-fried with peppers and onion, curry leaves and mustard seeds, served with tamarind sauce

    Tandoori Sunehara Jhinga
    Marinated jumbo prawns, freshly-ground spices, mint and lemon, cooked in the tandoor, served with house-special chutneys

    Pollicha meen
    Tandoored seabass fillet, fresh ginger, garlic, black pepper, fennel, green peas, green chilli, onion and mint sallas

    Mains:

    Butter Chicken Makhni
    Freshly tandoored chicken tikka, simmered in tomatoes, scented with fenugreek, butter and cream

    Kurumulaku Kozhi
    Tandoored chicken, roasted coconuts, tempered with mustards, curry leaves and laal mirch, finished with fresh coarsely ground black pepper.

    Murgh Angara
    Succulent Chicken slow cooked in red onion and vine tomato sauce, peppers, fresh ginger, green-chilli and coriander

    Koh-E-Awadh
    Tender lamb infused with cloves, pyaz, bayleaf, almonds and cream aromatized with cardamom, fenugreek

    Gosht Laal Maas
    Lamb cooked in an onion-tomato sauce, coriander and green chillies, flavoured with mace, fennel and clove

    Aad Chettinadu
    A specialty from Tamil Nadu, lamb cooked with roasted fresh coconut and 12 aromatic spices, tempered with curry leaves and mustard seeds

    Beef varathathu
    Tender strips of beef, deep fried in a flour-coated base, peppers and onions, crushed black pepper in a chatpata sauce

    Khatta Meeta Jhinga
    Prawns cooked in onion-tomato, roasted coconuts, chef-special peri peri spice masala, kokum

    Thengakothu chemmeen
    Prawns tossed with coconut slivers, red onion and vine tomato sauce, coriander and fresh ginger

    Makhan Machi
    Unique combination of tandoored sea bass fillet, jumbo prawns simmered in a rich plum tomato sauce, roasted cumin and fenugreek
